Kosovo's President Dies at 61

Announcing he had lung cancer last Septemeber he lost his battle with the disease Sunday Jan. 21, 2006.

He was elected President of the Serbian province of Kosovo in 2002. His dream was for a Kosovo totally independent from Serbia.
