Comedican Robert Schimmel dies

A regular on the Howard Stern show had been hospitalized last Thursday after a being a passenger in a serious car accident. The car flipped multiple times of the side of the freeway, after his daughter swerved to avoid another car accident.

Recently Schimmel had been in declining health due to Stage 3 Non-Hodgkin lymphoma diagnosis in 2000, cirrhosis of the liver and in need of transplant, and a heart attack in 1998.
