Elizabeth Edwards dies

Soon after reports that she would not continue cancer treatment, it is now reported she has died.
Originally diagnosed with the disease during the 2004 presidential campaign she had a brief period of remission. Then in 2007 the 61 year old's breast cancer resurfaced.
